The all-new Litter-Robot 4 is out, if you’ve not heard already and would like to read more about it you can do so here. The new Litter-Robot 4 aims to improve upon where it left off with the Litter-Robot 3 by improving odor control, adding a new and improved sensor for better reliability and a more streamlined design (and much much more).
I’ve been an extensive user of the previous generation Litter-Robot for many years now and have reviewed my journey along the way. One thing I’ve always said about the Litter-Robot is, it’s very expensive for most people and the new Litter-Robot 4 is even more expensive at $699. This does sound like an awful lot of money for a cat litter box and you’d be right, it is. However, there are a few ways you can save money on your purchase.

The other way you can save money is by looking at the refurbished section on the Litter-Robot website. Currently, due to how new the Litter-Robot 4 is there aren’t any refurbished Litter-Robot 4’s on there but there are some Litter-Robot 3’s and the savings are normally about $100.
Finally, you can look on places like eBay, gumtree and Craigslist for people selling their Litter-Robot 4. There can be many reasons why people sell their units, from their cat passing away to moving to a smaller house or apartment.
